Position Overview For The Bilingual Software Developer (Japanese)
Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following an agile software development lifecycle. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improves operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures. Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Required Skills For The Bilingual Software Developer (Japanese)
B.S or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. Self-motivated software developer with a strong desktop applications background and/or web and mobile application development experience who is capable of also writing for embedded platforms. 7-10 years hands-on programming experience required. Experience writing code for both compiled and interpreted languages. Expert-level programming capability in at least one language is required. Familiarity with both object-oriented and scripting languages. Strong understanding of software development methodologies. Detail oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task, and good interpersonal skills. Experience working with revision control systems, build systems, and working within a team environment. Software packaging and deployment experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have desktop application experience (C/C++/C#/Java), web application development experience in (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript), server-side programming. Postres SQL experience AWS Cloud Architecture experience
