Mobile QA Analyst
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A new remote opportunity has arisen for a Mobile QA Analyst to join this company on a 1+ year contract basis. As a Mobile QA Analyst, you will be responsible for testing native mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, ensuring that they adhere to quality processes and working closely with other teams to eliminate problems by finding defects and deficiencies in code.
Responsibilities
Test using Charles Proxy, APIs or Postman (or similar type of tool) Test real iOS and Android devices in a native mobile application architecture Display knowledge of the development PR and branch merging process Display knowledge of mobile application quality assurance processes Test digital payments/wallets Create defect/bug tickets and reports based on test findings Work within cross-functional teams Have effective communication and collaboration skills Write detailed test cases Detect, troubleshoot, and report quality problems and end user issues
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in mobile applications quality assurance Working knowledge of XCode for iOS and/or Android Studio for Android Working knowledge of Proxy API tools: Charles Proxy, Proxyman, or similar tool
