Position Overview For The Senior Release Analyst
Develop, analyze, and oversee application deployment and infrastructure maintenance plans. Identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve scheduling conflicts. Supervise progress towards implementation plans and devise backout strategies as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate application and infrastructure changes across pre and production environments using deployment automation tools.
Required Skills For The Senior Release Analyst
5-10 years of experience either managing or supporting applications/platforms/services deployments, infrastructure upgrades and security patching. Expertise in Jira, Jenkins, Git, and deployment automation tools (Chef, Rundeck, and CloudBees Pipeline) Bachelor's Degree required Solid understanding of project management methodologies including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risks, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and run team meetings Familiarity with software development life cycle SDLC, both traditional and agile
