MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GEDOne year of officer or customer service experienceProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists customers in person and by phone; addresses questions regarding billing, payments, conservation, and water qualityEnters data into the records management system; prints reports from the system if necessaryPerforms a variety of routine clerical tasks including filing, billing, collections, processing payments, scheduling appointments, and compiling reportsOperates standard office equipment including copier, fax machine, computer, scanner, and postage meterSets up new customer accounts; coordinates service shut-off/turn-onReconciles daily payments and makes deposits to the corporate checking accountSorts and distributes mail; orders office suppliesProcesses monthly credit card paymentsCorresponds with customers regarding metered billing statusParticipates in and supports the Company’s Continuous Improvement program and projectsPerforms other similar duties as assigned
