Cedarfield entered the spirits industry, in 2017, with the launch of IJW Whiskey Company, LLC (“IJW”). IJW, which is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, currently has over 70 employees, a fullyintegrated infrastructure, and the largest independent inventory of bourbon in the world. Building on the success of IJW, Cedarfield has enlarged its global spirits footprint, with the construction of largescale distilleries in Kentucky and Japan. Leveraging our strong foundation in the spirits industry and the extensive operations of our platform companies, Cedarfield is actively pursuing a wide array of investment and acquisition opportunities, focusing on capturing value by identifying undervalued assets and leveraging market inefficiencies.Position Overview:Cedarfield is seeking an Investment Associate to join its entrepreneurial and collegial team. The Associate will be an integral member of the group, responsible for assisting the President with analyzing, sourcing, and integrating investment and acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and collaborative organization.

Key Responsibilities:Conducting industry research, competitive analysis, and company due diligence to supportexecutive leadership on organic and inorganic business growth initiatives.Draft polished and organized presentations and memorandums for internal and externalgroups.Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis to support the Company’s decision making.Cultivate an extensive understanding of the industry to be able to develop and presentpotential business opportunities.Engage in rigorous competitive analysis and help manage transaction execution processes.
Qualifications:4-year bachelor’s degree.1-3 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate development.Proven track record of working in a demanding and a highly analytical role preferably in theconsumer sector; M&A experience preferred.Ability to isolate key information from complex content and reams of information to produce organized and easy-to-understand written materials.Ability to produce organized, high-quality, polished, and well-written work product, such asmemorandums and presentations.Superior qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with great attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate well with a cross-functional team.A highly motivated and committed self-starter, result-oriented, with flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
