Position Summary
Manages the slot technical department to ensure quality of guest service, efficiency, and compliance with gaming regulations. Accountable for all slot machine maintenance and repair. Research, advise and implement new technologies to enhance overall slot gaming experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Promotes superior guest service.Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.Maintains daily operation of all slot machines and the slot data system.direction to slot technician team by supervising daily activities, providing feedback both formally and informally, interprets and enforces policies and procedures.all hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, evaluating and counseling of slot tech team members.Actively builds team member relationships and promotes collaborationor refers team member issues to Human Resources representatives in a timely manner.the maintenance of all necessary paperwork and documentation regarding all slot machine activity, maintenance, repairs, key control requirements and inventory control.that the repair department is adequately staffed and that a high degree of training in repair expertise is maintained.against theft and ensure the security and integrity of all casino property. Inspects slot machines for malfunctions and tampering. Establishes and maintains preventative maintenance programs.Follow up on technical activities and repairs.Oversees the maintenance of all necessary paperwork and documentation regarding all slot machine activity, maintenance, repairs, key control requirements and inventory control. Manage all gaming device projects that include but are not limited to game conversions, new game installs, game removals, game moves, game sales.and report the daily activities of the shift.confidentiality of sensitive information.other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree and two (2) years of slot technician supervisory experience in a high volume, complex casino environment or five (5) years of experience as slot technician supervisor or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.knowledge of test equipment, ability to utilize an “in-ear” communication device and have the dexterity to manage and service slot machine parts.have an ability to work with word processing and spreadsheet software.knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel.be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.be able to bend, pull, lift, and reach.be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
