📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A design and manufacturing company of high voltage transmission equipment needs to find an Electrical Engineer and Structural Engineer to work on products for the electrical transmission industry. This is a fully remote position. The company provides excellent benefits, which includes 10-20% bonus, health benefits, 6% 401K match.
I have a similar opening for someone with a Structural/Civil Engineering degree and background in Power Line Transmission projects.
Working in collaborative teams, engage in research and development concerning electrical insulation for transmission.Should be knowledgeable of market practices in the design, construction, and commissioning of power transmission projects.Study power transmission solutions, capture business opportunities in grid projects.Evaluate project for best practices, government compliance, and market standards.Work closely with engineering, management, and operations.Deal with suppliers, customers, finance, sales.
REQUIREMENTS• Should have in-depth knowledge of transmission line projects up to 500 kV, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, Bachelor’s degree is required.• At least five years’ experience with power line CAD systems, and with PLS POLE transmission line engineering.• Proficiency in engineering transmission lines with line posts, braced line posts, and insulated cross-arms.• Demonstrated experience in developing innovative solutions for compact transmission lines.
This job requires the experience as noted in power transmission projects. You must have a minimum of a BSEE degree. I have a similar opening for someone with a Structural/Civil Engineering degree and background in Power Line Transmission projects.
