📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
IMC is currently looking for multi-talented and passionate Trading Engineers. You will be part of a highly experienced team, facing the daily challenges of running a distributed low latency trading platform.
Your Core Responsibilities
Oversee operation and maintenance of our trading systemsDevelop automation tools to reduce operational overheadCollaborate with traders and developers to improve the system architecturePerform in-depth analysis of real time systemsProvide support for proprietary trading systems deployed across a multi-platform production environmentSupport core market connectivity and correspond with exchanges regarding trade order activity, connectivity, and other related technical support issues
Your Skills and Experience
Self-driven, passion for engineering, and a natural sense of curiosityTeam player with strong communication skillsIn-depth knowledge and experience with Linux operating system (CentOS and/or Ubuntu experience is a plus)Excellent command of PythonStrong understanding of networking fundamentalsPrior experience supporting high performance applications, process monitoring, and troubleshootingExperience with kubernetes / docker is a plusBachelors in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Technology or similar field
