IMEG is growing, and we’d love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Project Executive (Structural Engineering) in our Ontario, CA office. The Project Executive will be responsible for assisting the Client Executive in managing the Team by developing and maintaining client relationships. A Project Executive must have demonstrated a high level of proficiency of managing large projects within one or more markets. Have a strong focus on one or more markets and has established a reputation within IMEG and with their clients as being an expert. A Project Executive is someone that has developed a focus toward a market and achieved a high level of success in developing and maintaining relationships with desired clients.

Some key duties and responsibilities include

Responsible for developing and maintaining clients that assist with providing work for the TeamParticipate in promotional activities that establish IMEG as an expert in selective marketsServe as a Project Manager on most projects to which they are assignedAccept major role in developing and presenting for client interviewsCoordinate with Client Executive and marketing department on business development opportunities and marketing effortsParticipate in local market focused organizations to help keep the team appraised on market changes and trendsParticipate in corporate market focused meetings to ensure coordination of marketing efforts and business development messageResponsible for the financial success of projects that they manage or direct.Consistently managing client and project fees with a total aggregate value of approximately $2MResponsible for bringing in new projects on a regular basisResponsible for (directly or as a contributing team member) for new fees of approximately $1M on an annual basisAssist Client Executive in collection of accounts receivable on projects for which the team is responsibleSupport the efforts of the Technical Operations Team to provide technical training and consistency across TeamsAssist with updating marketing database with the team’s leads and proposalsProvide leadership and mentoring to senior staff on client relations and project managementOther duties as assigned

Key skills and abilities needed for the position are

Expert level mastery of the technical aspects of one’s disciplineDemonstrated aptitude to design/manage major projectsAbility to mentor, motivate, and lead othersAbility to perform final quality control check in their area of expertiseAbility to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groupsAbility to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays

Education and experience requirements are

Significant stock ownership representing, at a minimum, a clear, forward focused path to the Associate Principal levelA minimum of 15 years of experience at IMEG or a similar consulting firm in aligned markets serving as the key client contact with recurring overall project responsibilityBachelors degree in related field required.

Salary Range: $163,000-$199,000/year. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including: experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
