- *Job Posting: Licensed Clinician (MRSS Response Team)**
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinician to join our Mobile Response Stabilization Service (MRSS) Response Team. As a vital member of our multi-disciplinary team, which includes a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Director, Psychiatrists, and a response team consisting of two clinicians and one to two peer support specialists, you will provide comprehensive crisis intervention services for children, adolescents, and families within the Prince George's County Public School System.
- *Responsibilities:*** Respond to crisis calls, providing immediate on-site assessment and intervention* Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and make appropriate referrals* Connect clients to support services and offer harm reduction options* Collaborate with team members to provide coordinated crisis responses* Lead and work alongside peer support staff, ensuring adherence to the MRSS mission* Provide clinical education and training to peer support staff* Document client interactions accurately and in a timely manner
- *Qualifications:*** Master's degree or PhD in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field* Maryland State license (LMSW, LGPC, or LGMFT)* Minimum 2 years of crisis intervention or related experience* Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health conditions* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work effectively in a team environment* Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and travel within Prince George's County* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
