Chief Information Security Officer

Job Description:As an executive-level position, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for protecting the organization's information assets, digital systems, and technological infrastructure. They lead the development and execution of an overarching strategy to safeguard sensitive data from evolving cyber threats.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Bachelor's or Master's degree.Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) preferred.Relevant certifications would be advantageous.Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologiesFamiliarity with cloud security principles, particularly AzureResponsibilities:Develop and socialize a strategic vision and roadmap to maximize security results while maintaining strict budget control.Drive initiatives and projects to reduce risk to manageable levels, instilling confidence in executives and proactively addressing regulatory concerns.Rebuild the Information Security Department, including recruiting and mentoring Information Security staff within the IT organization.DMARC Implementation and Email Security Updates: Implement DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) to enhance email security. Stay updated on email security best practices and implement necessary updates.System Hardening: Ensure systems are hardened according to best practices, including regular backups and privileged access workstation setups.Proficiency in log analysis and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.Experience with firewall management and network securityFoster a solution-oriented "can-do" team culture.Handle Security Program Development, Compliance Improvements, Secure Software Development, Database Security, and Network Administration.

Salary - $125,000 - $180,000 per year
