Senior Mechanical Engineer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client, a machinery manufacturing company, is currently looking to hire a full-time (40 hours/week) Senior Mechanical Engineer. The person in this role will be responsible for designing and developing electro-static mineral processing equipment using SolidWorks. This is a contract-to-hire position, working onsite in Needham, MA. $45-60 per hour.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical part design using SolidWorks. Ability to generate complex 3D models and 2D drawings. Project management and leadership skills. Proficient in geometric tolerancing and dimensioning. Ability to work and collaborate with others on a complex 3D model. Experience working in a product manufacturing environment. Familiar with the capabilities of 3D printing, CNC machining and plastic injection molding. Ability to clearly communicate ideas, plans and constructive feedback to others.
