Project ManagerWhippany, NJAs a Project Manager, you will have an exciting opportunity to manage complex, highly visible programs or projects that cut across the business, operations, and technology. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a plan, analyzing potential risks and benefits, working collaboratively with your business partners to land on the best solutions, and driving your team to deliver through completion.
At our company, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.
What will you be doing?Being responsible for managing medium to large projects with multiple business, operations, and technology stakeholdersOrganizing project delivery cadence and running effective discussions with senior leadership and project teamCoordinating overall project documentation across all bank functions including requirements, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, weekly status reports, etcDefining, creating and updating project plan and tracking upcoming deliverablesPerforming daily administrative tasks including time management, training and other duties as requiredEnsuring projects are completed according to time and budget schedules, &objectives conform to line of business' overall standards, operations objectives client’s needsManaging work teams through successful delivery of intended outcomesLeveraging project management best practices and apply lessons learned from completed projects
What we’re looking for:Five years project management experience with demonstrated experience managing medium to large initiatives, involving multiple business/operations/technology Proven ability to manage and influence resources to deliver to intended outcomes in a matrixed environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in MS Office applications: Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Skills that will help you in the role:PMP/PMI certification, LEAN or Six Sigma a plusGood working knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies, certifications a plus
