Position Overview: Independent Pipe & Supply is a leading wholesale distribution company specializing in Pipe, Valves and Fittings (PVF). The Sales/Marketing Coordinator is a dynamic role within the organization supporting both the sales and marketing teams in achieving their directives. This multifaceted position involves coordinating social media campaigns, managing website content, and supporting sales initiatives through promotional materials. Additionally, the coordinator will be involved in employee engagement activities, vendor co-op management, and future customer incentive program development.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning and Execution:Plan, organize, and execute corporate events and trade shows to enhance brand awareness and promote company products and services.Coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, logistics, vendor management, and attendee registration.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure events align with company goals and objectives.

Social Media Management:Develop and implement social media strategies to promote products and services offered by Independent Pipe.Plan and coordinate social media posts and campaigns to engage with the target audience and build brand awareness.Tie social media efforts to physical marketing materials such as counter displays and promotional materials to support sales initiatives.

Website Content and Maintenance:Maintain and update the company website to ensure fresh and relevant content.Manage website sections such as manufacturer listings, employee information, and market updates.

Employee Engagement and Company Culture:Foster employee engagement and promote company culture through various initiatives such as monthly newsletters, employee spotlights, and recognition programs.Coordinate company events and promote them through various channels, including social media and email campaigns.

Synchronization of Marketing Efforts:Collaborate with Company’s marketing agency on various projects.Coordinate marketing efforts across different channels, including social media, email blasts, and on-hold messages.Work with the Director of Sales and VP of Purchasing to delegate vendor co-op dollars and pursue additional funds from manufacturers.Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging to maximize impact and reach.

Future Projects and Initiatives:Work with the Director of Sales and VP of Purchasing to develop customer incentive programs aimed at enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.Previous experience in event planning, social media management, and website development preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in social media platforms, website management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Experience in managing co-op relationships a plus.
