RESPONSIBILITIES & OPPORTUNITIES
Consult with customers to understand their needs, applications, and opportunities for improvementsRecommend solutions, and demonstrate new technologies and product solutionsCultivate and prioritize strong customer and partner relationshipsGrow sales and generate new businessPrepare presentations, proposals, and quotes to secure ordersMaintain a high level of application and product expertise, as well as competency with complementary products
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TALENTS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (equivalent technical degree and/or experience will also be considered)Knowledge of Industrial Automation & Control Systems including PLC, RIO, HMI, SCADA & Industrial PCs (Siemens experience a plus)Knowledge of VFD & Motor Control (Siemens experience a plus)Knowledge of Industrial Networking (Understanding of Profinet & Profibus a plus)Knowledge of Industrial Instrumentation - Level, Pressure, Flow (not required, but a plus)Knowledge of Power Distribution Systems - LV/MV Switchgear, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Panelboards, Switchboards (not required, but a plus)Passionate about serving customers and facilitating partnershipsEffective listening, communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to identify customer needs, present solutions and product recommendations, and close ordersAbility to educate customers and provide product demonstrationsStrong work ethicFrequent travel within the assigned area, which may include some overnight travelMust possess a valid driver’s license
