INFINITEK are proud to be working with a market leader in the metal processing industry with over 50 years of operational history and have over 30 locations across the United States.
Due to their continued success and the high demand for their products they are now looking to recruit for experienced Maintenance Technicians (both II and III level) for 2nd and 3rd shifts to join their established team in Portage, IN.
As a Maintenance Technician on the 2nd or 3rd shift, you're vital for ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency by conducting mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime. Your role includes adhering to safety protocols, performing equipment maintenance, and addressing operational inefficiencies. Success requires strong mechanical and basic electrical knowledge, proficiency in computer systems, and the ability to operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
RequirementsOver 5 years experience working in fast paced industrial maintenance.Proficiency in computer systems, including Excel and CMMSAptitude for troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipmentStrong mechanical and basic electrical knowledgeSkill in operating motor control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, hoists, fire protection, and mechanical bearing systemsCommitment to adhering to safety rules and regulationsExperience with metalworking tools such as grinders, band saws, drill presses, and welding equipmentIdeally, a Mechatronics certificate, although not mandatoryPhysical capability to lift and move varying weights, up to 75 pounds.
