Job Title: Environmental Test Fixture Engineer IIPay Rate: $42 to $49/HRDuration: 18 monthsLocation: Redondo Beach, CA
Our client is a large Aerospace Industry Manufacturer.
We are looking for an Environmental Test Fixture Engineer II
Develops, administers, and implements environmental programs by governmental requirements.Monitors pollution prevention activities, compliance, and auditing efforts. Conducts studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes, and permit changes.Reviews and analyzes environmental documentation issued by the federal EPA, and state and local regulatory agencies.
Basic Qualifications:Highly experienced with vibration fixture design using CAD software NX and modal analysis.Demonstrated experience generating detailed 2D drawings following GD&T Y14.5 requirements, including tolerance stack-up analysis.Ample Vibration Testing ExperienceAbility to design vibration fixtures for complex test articlesExtensive knowledge of 3D CAD design using NX softwareExperience with the CPLM release processAbility to make 2D drawings following GD&T standards for manufacturingKnowledge of test plan development and document review processThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Education & Experience:Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering, or Math (STEM)3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:Environmental (Dynamics and Climatic) test planning experiencePrevious experience performing vibration and environmental testing, including instrumentation such as accelerometers.Experienced with manufacturing, manufacturing support, and working with machine shops or machinists to create components.Experience with data acquisition systemsCurrent active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance
