We are looking for a Payroll Tax Accountant.

Description:This Payroll Tax Accountant is responsible for payroll tax payments processing and reconciliation, proactive collaboration with customers and key internal business partners, and ensuring payroll tax compliance for multiple Clients and Companies in U. S. This role requires independent thinking and actions in handling payroll tax analysis and validations.Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance is required.Works as a team player and maintains a positive and productive work environment.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Payroll Tax reconciliation on a quarterly and annual basisProcessing Payroll Tax paymentsEnsure Payroll Tax Compliance at the employer and employee levelMaintains the controls and compliance documentation for payroll taxesResolve agency notices and tax tracers perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolutionReview and assist in payroll tax GL reconciliations, ICC billing, and fundingResolve employee's tax escalations and provide quality, reliable solutions to critical issuesResponsible for Payroll Tax auditsProvides support for mergers and acquisitions from a Payroll tax perspectiveReview current payroll tax processes and identify process improvements, standardization and ensure tax complianceProvide quality assurance testing on payroll tax updatesBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external business partnersParticipates in the Payroll Year-End processingW2 and W2c managementCommunicate effectively with various levels of management to ensure a high level of customer support and positive customer interactionsMaintain compliance with all payroll regulatory and client requirements
