📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
SRE- Devops Role – support role Location - Chicago, IL(Try local)JPMC Call notes.mond, tues, wed (WFO) Ideally candidate should be local but ready to take relo candidate.Application Support candidate. Less devopsMonitoring tools- APP dynamics, dynatrace, datadog, Grafana Geneos exp is required.(not mandatory) Intermediate SQL knowledge/experience Scripting- Bash/shell FS Domain exp is great to have but not required. Additional Skills: Required Skills:Technical expertise of 4+ years the below areas, overall IT experience of 6+ years• Proficiency in Java / JVM based system design & implementation• Infrastructure knowledge required including Unix, Windows, networking, and scripting (e.g., Perl / Python)• Experience with orchestration tools like Jenkins CI/CD, or Jules• Experience following source control best practices: Git/bitbucket• Experience with database development (MySQL / Oracle)• Understanding of architecture and design across distributed systems Prefer Skills:• Knowledge of Spring Boot / Microservices architecture• Experience using Pivotal Cloud Foundry• Experience with Public Cloud: AWS• Enterprise platforms using Big Data tools and technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, Dremio, Nifi, Ignite)• Experience setting up & building solutions for Containers e.g Kubernetes Job Family Description: Proficient in Dev Ops Engineering skills as well as multiple designtechniques§ Working proficiency in Dev Ops Engineering development toolset todesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improvesoftware§ Strong understanding of Agile methodologies withability to work in at least one of the commonframeworks§ Strong understanding of techniques such asContinuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, TestDriven Development, Cloud Development,application resiliency and security§ Proficiency in one or more general purposeprogramming languages§ Working proficiency in a portion of softwareengineering disciplines and demonstratesunderstanding of overall software skills includingbusiness analysis, development, testing,deployment, maintenance and improvement ofsoftware
