Ingenium Talent, a leading Louisville-based recruiting firm is working with a fast-growing healthcare company in their search for a Lead Business Intelligence Developer. This is a full-time position and will allow for a hybrid work arrangement.
The Lead Business Intelligence Developer will lead the BI team and assist in deploying applications, systems, and processes, as well as identify improvement opportunities to maximize the impact within the organization. Our client is looking for someone that can assume a leadership role over the team of developers but is willing to be hands-on with the code and drive change by offering new ideas and approaches.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOBManage data intake from clients to be processed by systems for reporting and use by operations team.Delivery of KPI reporting for internal use and client facing reports.Reporting analytics to measure client performance.Refine reports to create the best decision and provide for the best outcome.Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for advancement of reporting and analysis capabilities.Explore where AI may provide benefits to the performance of our organization.Provide leadership and mentoring to the junior developers on staff.
SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong experience with Microsoft BI Suite including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI).Expert level of SQL development, specifically MS SQL Server.Prior experience supporting systems or applications.Prior experience in the healthcare field either in the insurance field or provider space.Ability to think critically and strong problem-solving capabilities.Strong ability in root-cause analysis.Associates/Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of relevant experienceExperience with Azure cloud environments a strong plus.
