General Summary

Assemble industrial air filtration systems to specifications.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities (essential Functions)

Read and interpret documentation including bill of materials, COC and drawings Compare Bill of Material and shortage sheets to prepare for assembly process. Prep all heatless and capital dryers and filters including piping, lead checking, and building filter package assemblies. Label the dryer assembly. Produce quality product within the approved time standards to meet efficiency and productivity goals. Limited low-voltage wiring on specified dryers.

Skills

Basic to advance shop math including conversion of fractions and decimals and reading and interpreting a tape measure. Machines and tools used include the following: Small hand tools, air, electric and pneumatic tools, pipe threader, overhead crane, jib crane, assembly fixtures, grinder, pipe cutter, drill motor, tape measure, tubing bender.

Education And Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required Must be able to read and follow blueprints and manufacturing procedures. Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required) operating hand tools: 1 year (Required)

The majority of the work performed is in a non-climate-controlled steel and concrete block building with cement floors. Frequent exposure to moderate to loud noise, dust and moving mechanical parts or equipment.
