Job Summary

We are looking for an individual with experience in pre-sale and post-sale support activities for industrial products serving the water treatment, oil/gas, and/or petrochemical industries. The individual in this role will provide quoting and project management support for our mission-critical pump technologies. The best candidate will have excellent customer service skills, quoting and estimating abilities, project management skills, and be capable of establishing strong interdepartmental relationships.

Responsibilities

Review RFQ’s, specifications and provide application engineering expertise in special applications (i.e. conceptual design of special configurations, evaluation of existing designs, basic modification of existing designs, etc.)Prepare and submit quotations and technical bid documents for configured and engineered-to-order products utilizing a variety of product selection tools, internal ERP system and technical resourcesProvide technical and commercial support to Regional Sales Managers, channel partners, and end usersProvide project management for orders requiring special designs, documentation, testing and inspection from order receipt through customer acceptance.Assist with aftermarket application support and troubleshootingCoordinate with internal departments and outside suppliers for quoting and project management purposesRepresent the company in customer meetings and coordinate commercial and technical negotiations as needed

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to work on multiple projects at the same time, being able to easily pivot, and great at multi-tasking

Key Competencies

3-5 years of related experience in quoting and/or project management preferred Experience with industrial products in municipal water treatment, oil/gas, and/or petrochemical industries preferredExperience with metering pump technologies, a plusExperience working in ERP systems
