1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:45pm, OT and Weekends as needed

Pay Starts at $20+/hr and can go up based upon experience!

Job Summary

The Production Scheduler will schedule all sales order shipments. The scheduler will be responsible for all pump quotes and establishing lead time guidelines for the sales department, will work within the master schedule for configure to order pumps to ensure material and capacity availability. All promised delivery dates will be maintained in JDE, and those dates are used to drive final assembly schedules of both pumps, parts and sub-assemblies to ensure on-time deliveries to the customers.

Responsibilities

Run backlog reports daily and schedule all orders within 24 hours of release from hold codes. (Except material review code - MR) Communicate effectively between Sales, Floor-Lead-Material Planning/Supply Chain-Master Scheduling, Shipping, Warehouse (direct or indirect staff) without any delay Maintain daily schedule of all sales orders by scheduling in JDE and releasing the orders from MR hold Run configurations and WO requirements for all pump requirements. Use parts lists from pumps to determine availability of parts to satisfy demand. Use capacity tools to ensure capacity for production after determining parts availability Collaborate with purchasing, machine shop, & subassembly planners daily to endure adequate supply of purchased parts Communicate daily with Master Scheduler (MPS) to consume MPS forecast and to alert on any issues or trends that will impact delivery; Communicate with sales (Materials Manager) on all quote requests and use the SQ tool to determine lead-times for pump quotes (combined 2 bullet points) Monitor and make necessary date changes based on any issues such as inventory, quality, system, etc. Expedite and coordinate with various departments and manage the daily schedule as needed (if there is any pull in or push out based on customer requirement and or any internal issues) Solve/elevate any system issues without any delay. Understanding bills of materials, production issues, and capacity planning experience necessary

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent preferred 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a mixed model assembly facility preferred Experience with master scheduling preferred Intermediate level in Word, Powerpoint and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, sorting, filtering, working with queries) preferred Experience in production planning, purchasing, and manufacturing, a plus Solid understanding of ERP systems; JD Edwards experience, a plus
