Supply Chain Sustainability & Diversity Analyst

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be an integral part of Ingersoll Rand’s Global Sourcing & Logistics Team, ideally based out of our Headquarters location in Davidson, NC but a remote working arrangement could be considered. This position will develop and execute a strategy to work with our supply base to help Ingersoll Rand achieve corporate sustainability objectives. This individual will also develop the key performance indicators (KPI’s) necessary to measure and improve the sustainability and diversity of our direct and indirect supply bases.

Principal Tasks

Develop and execute a strategy to reduce the sustainability risk of Ingersoll Rand supply chain partnersEstablish metrics, measurement systems, and improvement plans to reduce supply chain riskIdentify and partner with third party assessment agencies to improve Ingersoll Rand’s ability to assess sustainability riskAs necessary, conduct on-site audits to address identified risks at suppliersLead development of Global Sourcing & Logistics responses for global sustainability report and external rating agenciesPrepare response for annual Sustainability reportLead development of responses for external rating agencies (DJSI, Sustainanalytics, MSCI, CDP) and other agencies as neededExecute Impact Daily Management process (part of Ingersoll Rand’s Business Operating System tool kit) to deliver necessary responsesMeasure/improve diversity of Ingersoll Rand supply chain partnersEstablish metrics and measurement systems to measure diversity of IR supply chain partnersPartner with internal diversity resources and third-party agency to establish benchmarks and develop plans to meet those benchmarks in alignment with the global sourcing and logistics strategyDevelop a process to Identify and advocate for potential minority suppliersOther duties as assigned or required

Qualification And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or sustainability related preferredExperience with supplier sustainability or diversity preferredProficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
