The Warehouse Manager’s primary responsibility is to monitor and maintain inventory integrity, preservation, and presentation to all supporting departments. Supervise the hourly workforce, assigning daily duties, control inventory transactions and movement throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate product inventory Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices Conduct cycle count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution Oversee & evaluate stock rotation processesTrain staff in product dating & create procedures to eliminate loss Maintain adequate storage for warehouse & on-site inventoryCreate space utilization plan Notify planning/purchasing of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability Instruct staff on proper procedures for locating and utilizing product inventory Check orders/picks for accuracy prior to shipment Ensure all material issued to PSO/picklistsMonitor open picklists Supervise warehouse employees including material handlers & oversee daily operations Enforce all company rules & regulations Ensure a high degree of detail & focus on every job Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of product to the floor Attend DM board, report as required Reconcile ERP with physical counts Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications

ERP experience, SAP or Oracle preferred Innovator of change and extreme desire for continuous improvement Strong computer skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Commitment to providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Comfortable in a leadership role and able to lead discussions with employees from multiple departments. Capable of analyzing and utilizing data to make decisions Must have strong desire and drive for continuous learning. Ability to multitask and prioritize work whilst handling changing priorities
