With over 100 events produced per year, including conferences, trade shows, consumer shows, and expos, IEM has extensive experience in event services. While the majority of our events are held in Texas, we have also worked with national and international clients to deliver successful events worldwide.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Event Manager at Innovation Event Management. The Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks associated with event planning and execution. This includes coordinating with clients, managing event logistics, budgeting and financial management, coordinating vendor relationships, and ensuring successful event outcomes.
This Event Manager position will be leading a handful of consumer events as well as conferences and client meetings. This position will also include assisting other Event Managers while they prepare for upcoming events as well as various projects for the company including answering phones and handling exhibitor and customer questions, ad production and editing, website content and social media maintenance, assist with sales for all events, help processing contracts, and other customer service projects around the office and onsite at various events. Job requirements include experience in communication/business/marketing and customer service, excellent communication skills, reliability, and a good work ethic. Must also be organized and have good time management. Sales experience is also a plus! The position will require substantial (up to 50%) travel during the week with some weekends, primarily in Texas. Salary ranges from $47,000- $55,000 based on prior event experience. Previously demonstrated event or project management skills are considered in the offer
