📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Jr. Packaging Lab Technician
Dynamic and reputable consumer product goods testing company seeking candidate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics or STEM programs, who has relevant experience working in a lab or physical lab environment.
Operating under the general supervision of the Sr Packaging Lab Technician or Lead Packaging Technician, this person is responsible for performing material property and packaging testing, utilizing instrumentation and associated software to generate and publish test results. In addition, they will be expected to help maintain the laboratory’s facilities, equipment and online database of test procedures and results.
Responsibilities:+ Understands basic testing procedures and updates them. Participate and lead testing of package components and materials.+ Executes established test plans and protocols.+ Tracks and reports test result+ Administrative Documentation Support Requirements ( ISO 9001:2015 experience would be nice but not required will train)+ Can follow a process and adhere to safety requirements.+ Ability to lift 35lbs + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills+ Strong verbal and written communication skills+ Works well independently, in a team, and in different environments+ Experience in packaging lab testing is a plus but not required will train.+ Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment - will collaborate with various internal individuals to coordinate and conduct testing and utilize shared equipment for prep, set-up and testingJob Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
