Account Manager

Day to Day A contract manufacturing organization is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. This person will manages all aspects of the customer engagement, including building strong relationships with customers, managing financial performance, and ensuring a high level of customer communication and satisfaction. They will also be creating, reviewing, updating, and executing account plans, and establishing account growth goals. The overall goal is to drives and manages the customer’s business and associated projects. Additional Responsibilities Include: Develop a thorough understanding of the customers’ position in the market, their product/service, points of difference and competitive landscape.Develop detailed account plans for each customer that include revenue growth goals and plansManage customer input and feedback for all projects with detailed actions and timelines.Drive all customer project activities including tracking action items and target completion dates. Address delays with corrective actions when problems/issues arise throughout the process.Establish and build strong working relationships with customer business leaders at all levels and assist in developing relationships across both organizations.Manage day-to-day customer communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects.As necessary, visit customers, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.Manage the financial performance of assigned customers..Ensure a high level of customer communication and satisfaction.Review all quotes prior to final approval and submission. Make recommendations on pricing efforts.Assist in establishing priorities, maintaining the appropriate level of urgency, and resolving conflicts within customer accounts.Collaborate with other departments within the organization especially with Operations, Planning/Scheduling, Purchasing, Accounting, Quality, Production, Compounding, Warehouse, R&D, Sales, and New Product Development. Top Skills 5+ years’ experience as an Account Manager in Contract Manufacturing Experience managing client relations- acting as the liason between the client and company Ability to align with customer goals and plan and ensure the company is delivering on commitments Ability to drive customer projects and goals to completionVery strong customer service skills with tact and professionalism Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional organization.Customer oriented with ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities.Ability to react quickly and intelligently in high pressure situations.
