📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Accountant/Controller to join our electrical contracting client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial management, and leadership. As an integral part of our organization, you will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:Financial Management:Develop and implement financial strategies in collaboration with executive leadership.Analyze financial data to identify growth opportunities and minimize risk.Prepare accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Oversee budgeting processes and monitor financial performance.Accounting Oversight:Supervise accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.Review and approve ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.Address complex accounting inquiries and provide technical guidance.Systems Proficiency:Utilize AIA Billing, QuickBooks, and Paylocity for financial transactions, payroll management, and reporting.Ensure data integrity and streamline processes using these software tools.Efficiency Enhancement:Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.Implement best practices to enhance profitability.
Must Haves:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.Proficiency in AIA, QuickBooks, and Paylocity.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Compensation:$35-$42/hr
