📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Developer and/or Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of hands-on experience in developing data visualizations, scripting, and creating interactive dashboards using Tableau. This effort is supporting a multi-year DoD facilities & construction contract. A clearance is not required, however, applicants must be suitable for government employment.
This project will serve a branch of the military as the footprint for all project and data management. You will be required onsite 4x a week and remote for one day.
Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Tableau in a professional setting.Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep Builder.Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.Experience with scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R.US Citizen and suitability for federal employment Pluses: Tableau certification(s) (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI or QlikView.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Day to Day: Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and translate them into effective Tableau solutions.Perform data analysis and visualization to uncover insights and trends.Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for performance and usability.Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Tableau developers.
