Nice to have:-Ability to proficiently use the My Government Online web based permitting system.-Knowledge of the Federal, State, City, and professional regulations governing City projects Day to Day:A client of Insight Global is looking for a Civil CAD Designer to join their team fully on-site in Pensacola, FL. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering practices, standards, and construction plan production. They should be well-versed in civil drafting, construction documents, and have technical knowledge of various types of civil engineering projects. Furthermore, familiarity with property locations, topographic surveys, construction equipment, materials, GIS software, and applicable regulations is essential. Proficiency in utilizing Civil 3D dynamic functions, operating plotter systems, web-based permitting systems, and the Microsoft Office suite is also crucial. The ability to communicate effectively, prepare comprehensive reports, establish productive relationships, manipulate databases, and prioritize workload to meet engineering deadlines are important skills for success in this position.
