Must-haves-4-year degree in an Environmental health and safety related field preferred, other degrees considered with direct EHS work experience. Similar master's degree preferred.-At least 8 years of Environmental Health & Security experience with progressively increasing scope and responsibility.-Advanced technical knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety as well as Security-Ability to integrate EHS & Security with other technical and business disciplines.-Demonstrated ability to drive and influence the development of new principles, concepts and business results reflecting a broad range of stakeholder needs.-Comprehensive understanding of EHS & Security regulations and requirements

Day-to-DayA prominent company seeks a full-time Manager for EHS Operations. In this pivotal role, the Manager will directly oversee the plant's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. The primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, mentoring the EHS team and fostering partnerships with internal departments to seamlessly integrate EHS practices into their operational strategies. Additionally, the Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives within the plant, emphasizing robust compliance and risk assurance processes. Collaborating closely with regional and global EHS teams, the Manager will share insights, lessons learned, and best practices. Furthermore, the Manager will serve as a representative of EHS & Security to key external stakeholders, including regulators, the local community, industry peers, and customers. This position is based in Trinity, Alabama.
