Required Skills and Experience *-2+ years of experience in Risk Analysis-Intermediate to advanced skillset in excel.-VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis-Strong ability to understand, analyze and summarize financial statements.-Prior experience with annual reports as well as abbreviated financial statements-Experience with both US and international currencies & formats. EXPERIENCE-Experience using S&P Capital IQ (strongly preferred)-Experience with Microsoft suite (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook)-Excellent written/oral communication

As a Risk Analyst, you would play a crucial role in assessing and managing potential risks within the financial sector. Your analytical skills and business acumen contribute to informed decision-making, risk mitigation, and overall organizational success.Responsibilities:1. Risk Assessment and Analysis:· Evaluate financial data, market trends, and investment portfolios to identify potential risks.· Utilize advanced analytical tools and models to quantify risk exposure.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and tailor risk assessments accordingly.2. Reporting and Communication:* Prepare comprehensive reports on risk exposure, including visual representations and actionable insights.* Communicate findings to stakeholders, providing recommendations to minimize risk.* Present complex information in a clear and concise manner.3. Risk Mitigation Strategies:* Propose risk-reduction strategies, such as diversification, hedging, and currency management.* Monitor risk levels and adjust strategies as needed.* Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices.4. Financial Modeling and Forecasting:* Develop financial models to simulate various scenarios and assess potential outcomes.* Forecast risk impact on financial performance.* Assist in strategic planning by providing risk-related insights.
Compensation: $32/hr to $34/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
