Information Security Architect

A large healthcare system is looking to hire a Security Architect in Philadelphia, PA. This is a hybrid role Monday/Friday WFH and Tuesday-Thursday in the office. The Cybersecurity Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions to protect company data as well as safeguarding our patients from potential cyber threats. Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop a security risk management plan. Define and document how the implementation of a new system or new interfaces impacts the security posture of the current environment. Evaluate security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security controls or response to requirements contained in acquisition documents. Plan, design, test and enhance the operational security and resiliency of computers, VoIP, network infrastructure, backups and network connected medical devices.

Requirements:7+ years of well-rounded IT experience, primarily in Cyber Security, but must have experience in different areas (network, systems, desktop, etc.)Knowledge of how to secure a cloud environment, wireless security A/D, hardening servers, network security, etc.General experience and demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and/or CIS ControlsUnderstand the concept of encryptionExcellent written and oral communication skills
