📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
- In office 1-day per week in Nashville*Day to DayAn employer in the Nashville, TN area is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. This person will be responsible for working independently from project inception to completion while interfacing with other engineering disciplines, architects, owners and clients. Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining a high precision quality design. Communicate effectively with the client to understand their requirements and to keep the client advised of project progress. Ability to lead a mechanical and plumbing team through the design of a project, including client coordination. Assist with field verification of existing conditions. Calculate project heating, cooling, and ventilation loads and plumbing flow requirements. Preparation of building models, detailed contract documents, construction documents, and specifications. Perform energy and condition evaluations of equipment, systems and building components and maintain current knowledge of, and use trends in, energy utilization and conservation efforts.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 6+ years of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer doing their own production design Experience in Revit Licensed Professional Engineer
