📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Title: MEP SuperintendentLocation: Boston, MADuration: 6-month contract to hire (this WILL be a permanent role)Pay: up to 140k flexible
The Mechanical Superintendent supervises the field construction of the HVAC, electric, plumbing and sprinkler systems on the project, including its organization, planning, coordination and scheduling in order to complete the work on time, with-in budget and to the quality specified. The Mechanical Superintendent reports to the Project Manager.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline preferred; commensurate experience in construction projects including experience in planning, management, coordination and scheduling, and general construction/construction management work will be considered. 10-15+ years of construction management and/or general contracting, subcontracting or owner’s representative experience is a plus.Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.Strong Understanding of multiple trade disciplines, specifically mechanical and electrical systems.Organizational skills, oral & written communication and team attitude.Working knowledge of basic computer software.Must possess a valid driver’s license or other proper/official/valid form of ID (e.g., U.S. Passport; NYS Non-Driver ID issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles).Travel and overtime work will be required.
