Job Description *This team is focused on providing support to the EMR system, eClinicalWorks (ECW). They will be doing a lot of testing in the application. Will have to troubleshoot with vendors to find issues. Meetings with stakeholder on clinical and revenue cycle side to understand what they are looking for and to ensure products meet needs.
This team is the first step of review of the application before it goes to production. Once they receive code, they run it in the QA database. They perform scrip testing and then go in and make sure the system still works before production. If there are any issues, they go in and fix. This insdividual will have to read through vendor documentation and work with clinical partners to figure out the issues themselves. Then they try and see if they can break the product to predict issues. There is not a manual, you have to figure it out based off testing scripts so a technical, analytical, and problem resolution mindset are key.
