Renewable Energy Project Manager

Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for the managing new installation projects from start to close. The successful candidate will be able to develop and manage costs and schedules of ongoing estimations of completion, assist customer orders, and manage control system upgrades in a nuclear, fossil, and/or industrial environments.Manage contractual scope of the projectRisk and Cost Management – mitigate risks and handle budgetingWork in a client-facing environment, assisting clients with orders and system upgrade4s/installsProjects vary from $600k - $10Mil of installations and upgrades to steam turbines in a nuclear and fossil environmentsWork with very large industrial equipmentProvide project leadership and guidance from project concept through to project delivery to customer and to conduct project feedback reviews at the appropriate timeEnsure project authorization is secured technically and financiallyHandling 7-10 projects at a time utilizing P6 and Microsoft Scheduling software

Requirements and skills4+ years of work experience in direct project management in power generation, utility, or industrial manufacturing fieldBS in any STEM related degreeUS CitizenAbility to travel 25% of time within Americas region, domestically and internationally (North America and South America)Ability to obtain a valid passportStrong customer experience and communication skills! - working directly with clientsPrefer candidates in the Southeast, 65% of projects will be in the SoutheastPlusesPMP CertificationPrevious work with Steam Turbines: Mark/Alspa Controls
