As the CTO at Instill, you will be at the helm of our technology strategy and execution, driving innovation, while executing our ambitious vision. You will play a pivotal role in leading our technical team and shaping our product roadmap, building our robust AI models and ensuring that we continue to inject more science and technology into people tools than ever before.
Responsibilities
Provide visionary leadership to our technical teams, guiding the development of our Culture Operating System™, and ensuring that our AI-driven solutions remain at the forefront of industry innovation. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and refine the product roadmap, translating high-level goals into actionable technical strategies and initiatives. Attract, build, and manage a world-class engineering and data science team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee the selection of the right technologies, tools, and infrastructure necessary to support our ambitious product goals. Maintain a focus on product quality, establishing and enforcing best practices for development, testing, and deployment. Ensure the highest standards of data security and compliance are met in our product development processes. Stay at the forefront of AI and machine learning trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation. Drive the successful and timely delivery of product features and enhancements, keeping a close eye on performance metrics and user feedback.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a track record of building and scaling tech teams in the B2B SaaS space. Deep understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, with a history of designing, implementing and building AI-driven modelsExperience and well versed in people sciences and people analytics. A strong product-oriented mindset, with the ability to align technical decisions with business objectives. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, and experience with tools like Jira. Exceptional strategic thinking skills, with the ability to drive long-term technology vision while jumping into day-to-day technical operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
