Responsibilities And Expectations
We are seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to play a critical role in building the foundation of success for the development of IPS employees across seventy-two locations. In this position, you will use your organizational skills, creativity, and experience to explore innovative ideas to assist the Learning and Development team in developing engaging and interactive learning experiences. This is a chance to demonstrate your skills in research, customer service, creativity, and innovation to shape and create learning experiences that will engage learners in all facets of the organization from technicians to senior management. Partner closely with Learning Operations and Learning Experience Designers to bring to life the vision and strategy of the Learning and Development team, including the prioritization and creation of learning products and experiences encompassing IPS employees learning needs.Partner with Learning Operations to analyze existing IPSU materials to assess additional learning needs. Serve as one of the in-house Learning Management System (LMS) subject matter experts, demonstrating mastery of the LMSs features and functions, as well as how the platform can help IPS reach its business goals. Update and maintain the LMS with current training programs, schedules, and participant records. Capture, maintain, create, monitor, adjust and report on registration and pertinent participation data, including participant management and records within the LMS, participants to date numbers.Create and maintain compliant training records and files and ensure training schedules and documentation is up to date in accordance with laws, regulations, and company SOPs.Monitor and provide support to users experiencing difficulties with the LMS.Collect feedback from training participants and trainers to assess the effectiveness of training. Compile and present reports on training attendance, feedback, and evaluations.Participate in building processes to scale IPSU, content review processes and team collaboration.Assist in the creation of Learning and Development team procedures and processes.Budget and invoice management/processingAssist in coordinated research activities for training certification or business unit certification.Assist in managing project timelines for team.Monitor new hire training and ensure timely completion and effectiveness of training, including the deployment of new hire on-boarding, coordinating schedules and following-up with the team member responsible.
Qualifications And Competencies
2+ years of experience in a corporate environment (ideally HR/Learning and Development)Experience with Microsoft 360, SharepointDemonstrated project management and time management skills. Continuous improvement mindsetStrong research, planning and data gathering and analysis skills.Strong organizational skills necessary to schedule, prioritize and complete work assignments.Effective communicator; written, verbal and active listening.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
