Location/Division-Specific Information:This position is within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division of the Analytical Instruments Group. The ideal candidate would be based in Sunnyvale, California.
How will you make an impact?We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who enProducts defining and improving processes to support the entire IC/SP product management team through maintenance and evaluation of master data. The role will provide opportunities to be exposed to all parts of the product lifecycle while interfacing with departments across the world and actively and independently shaping your everyday work. This role is ideal for someone looking to be exposed to product management or operations activities.
What will you do?Execution of requests from the product management team for changes to the master data for all IC/SP product across the lifecycle, including price changes, commercial blocks and extension, and part creation and discontinuationChange order creation & implementation in Oracle Cloud PLM system.Query and evaluation of data in the SAP ERP system to support customer and business needs.Participation in business and regulatory projects affecting master data.Development and streamlining of master data relevant processes.Internal 1st level support for questions in the area of change and master data managementGuide Finance team in developing performance dashboards to increase data integrity and automation.Financial hierarchy reviews/improvements.Work jointly with other members of the business unit to drive growth for the business segment.Learn proactively and rapidly while communicating succinctly.
How will you get here?
Education:Bachelor’s degree in the data management, scientific or business fieldMaster’s degree highly desirable - MS, Ph.D., or MBA
Experience:2-3+ years related experience required, prior Product Management experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Data management experienceSAP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or similar knowledgeBusiness Strategy and Financial Awareness with a bias for executionAnalytical ReasoningProblem-Solving, Strategic Thinking, Adaptability, Interpersonal Skills, Influential, Prioritization CapabilitiesStrong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills and preferred experience working cross-functionally across many areas and levels of an organization.Ability to take projects from strategy to execution with great attention to detail and innovative thinking.
