📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Leading mission driven health tech firm is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager reporting directly to their CFO. We are looking for a team player with outstanding written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities.Maintain and ensure company’s accounting systems and compliance with GAAPManage month end financial close process and ensure timely preparation, distribution and review of monthly/quarterly financial statements Directly oversee the accounts payable function and annual audit process Stay current on, research and document new accounting rules that will impact the company
Qualifications BS/BA in Accounting or Finance with CPA required4+ years of experience in accounting preferably with a DTC companySolid knowledge of GAAP, Quickbooks OnlineProficiency in technical accounting research and memo writing and financial reporting strongly preferred
