📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
IntePros is seeking a Network Engineer for one of our client's the leading health insurance provider in the Philadelphia marketplace.
Responsibilities:Manage LAN/MAN/WAN, Firewall (VPN), Load Balancing Technology, Wireless Networking, and Cloud Networking.Document and maintain advanced troubleshooting techniques and capacity planning methods on systems.Provide research and recommendations for continuous process improvement, including evaluating vendor proposals.Work on medium to large complexity projects as a project team member.Perform duties of the Sr. Network Engineer as required.Qualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent.7+ years of Data Network experience preferred.In-depth knowledge of Cisco Switching and Routing, F5 LTM/ASM, network Security, network management systems.CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or equivalent hands-on and network design experience.F5-CSE certification preferred.Skills:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance daily workload with projects.Ability to collaborate with Project Managers to ensure successful and timely project completion.Strong technical proficiency in network hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair.Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN/wireless/VoIP technology, network infrastructure, design, topology, protocols, and operating procedures.Expertise in Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switch Technology, Cisco ISR and ASR Router Technology, and routing protocols.Familiarity with Cisco NFG Firewall, Cisco Wireless Technology, Application Load Balancer, DNS/DHCP, IPAM Technology, and other related technologies.Experience with network monitoring tools and strong network troubleshooting skills.
