Job Description
This position executes program strategies, policy alignment and supportive procedures to ensure a safe workplace culture, effective claims management and administrative oversight of the workers compensation program
Position Details
The incumbent for this role will perform the following job essentials:
Collaborates with all disciplines within Intermountain Health, insurance adjusters and other health care providers to ensure cohesive care for injured care givers.Develops the initial investigation strategy in conjunction with the Third Party Administrator (TPA) on complex cases of questionable compensability and/or as needed.Reviews all care giver injuries and submits to TPA. Gathers details from care giver to include treatment, details of incident, witnesses or other pertinent facts.Monitors medical and disability status to support communication with injured associates as needed to set realist goals for recovery and return to work. Ensures care site compliance with Transitional Duty Program.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of two (2) years of experience in a related healthcare role
Preferred Qualifications
5 or more years experience with workers compensation claims management

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$25.73 - $45.71
