Accounting Manager Job SummaryInternational Code Council is seeking a highly motivated, experienced professional to fill its Accounting Manager role. This individual will report to the Corporate Controller and work closely with the EVP of Finance. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accounting and financial control functions across the subsidiaries of the ICC Family of Solutions. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, have a strong understanding of GAAP and possess excellent financial analysis skills. In addition, they will be detail oriented, highly organized, able to work independently.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare month-end close entries for multiple subsidiaries. Timely preparation of monthly financial analyses and financial statements (balance sheets, income statements and statements of cash flows), and other reports Assist with monthly consolidation and preparation consolidated financial statementsMaintain general ledgers for subsidiariesManage subsidiary AR and APMaintenance and monthly reconciliation of general ledger accountsPerform intercompany accounting and consolidationManage bank reconciliation on multiple accountsAssisting with annual auditsAssisting with preparation and monitoring of subsidiary budgetsInvestigating and resolving account discrepancies and addressing any issues with policy complianceAnalysis of financial systems, procedure development and documentation Systems integration and migration Perform other accounting duties in support of the EVP of Finance as required or assigned Efficiency improvement initiatives

Required Education, Experience and SkillsBachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA preferred10+ years of accounting experience requiredExperience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains strongly preferredKnowledge of GAAP requiredKnowledge of tax law preferredStrong financial analysis skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail
