π Role Overview & Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance - aerospace/medical for heat treat & industrial equipment
This HIGHLY VALUED and MISSION CRITICAL maintenance role will be responsible for regular upkeep of heat treat equipment/furnaces, inventory management, preventative maintenance programs and special projects as assigned.
Working closely with ownership and senior-level management, this role will implement preventative maintenance programs and hire a support team.
Responsibilities
Maintain, diagnose and repair all process and facility equipment and machineryCreate and maintain preventative maintenance schedules including repairs and calibrationsFabricating equipment or components which may include carpentry forming, bending, rigging and/or weldingOversee all aspects of equipment and facility operationsKeeping a clean and safe work environmentHire and supervise additional staff as-needed
Requirements:ο»ΏAssociates degree or certificate in engineering preferred, but not requiredAt least 2 years experience in maintenance, ideally in with experience in a heat treat or similar plant environmentMust demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and willingness to learnMay be asked to work extended hours and/or weekends on occasionAbility to drive a forklift
