Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Customer Service Representative at Interstate Brick in West Jordan, UT. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support. This includes addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The Customer Service Representative will work closely with the sales team and other departments to provide timely and accurate information to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Provides administrative support to upper-level management, technical and sales team Collects, organizes and analyzes data for specialized reports.Expend an effort to continuously learn more about clay brick, building systems, and management responsibilities to become a solutions-based resource for customers and staff. Maintain established customer relationships and forge new ones where appropriate.Process and manage sales orders and change-orders received from customers inside sales coordinator and sales representatives, set-up sales order, terms, payer, and pre-lien data in SAP for initial order. Enter sales orders and change-orders into SAP and distribute to appropriate departments.Issues Invoices, Returns for Credit, Credit and Debit Memos following the guidelines outlined in Basalite Policy documents. Develops a working knowledge of all products and established procedures.Participates in physical semi-annual inventory counts which includes two weekends.Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.Predictable and Regular attendance is required, and works overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Associate degree in business or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of educationThree years full-time secretarial experience required, experience in the masonry industry preferredSAP experience preferred. Salesforce or other CRM experience is a plus Engaging verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with the sales team, contractors, engineers, architects, and owners. Spanish a plus.Required to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Must have the ability to use video conferencing software such as Microsoft Teams Meeting Ability to receive on-the-job training required to perform duties.Strong accounting skills required.Working knowledge of office equipment required to perform duties.Predictable and Regular attendance is required, and works overtime as needed PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit.Occasionally required to bend at the waist; Lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.Occasional travel time required up-to 5% WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
