Branch Manager – Girard, Ohio

Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is looking for a Branch Manager to join our Building & Construction team in Girard, Ohio.

Intertek-PSI is a leading US based provider of assurance, testing, inspection, and consulting solutions in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing. Through these risk management and quality assurance services, we ensure the reliability, safety and performance of our client’s new developments, existing assets, and facilities.

How you’ll make an impact at PSI an Intertek Company:

Responsible for operational management of the branch office including construction materials testing/inspection and Geotechnical related lab and field testing

Performs Business development activities including scope of work development, estimating and proposal preparationDevelops construction quality control programs and implementationProfit and Loss responsibilityRecruitment, development and mentoring of professional, technical, & administrative personnel

What it takes to be successful in this role

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is requiredPE License is preferred5+ years' of leadership, management, and/or project management experience is requiredICC, NICET and/or ACI Certifications are a plusP&L, and basic accounting experience is preferredSales, marketing, and client management experience preferredPrior personnel management, hiring and training experience preferredEnhanced Computer SkillsMust be customer focused and quality drivenAbility to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communicationMay travel up to less than 5% of time
