Assembler - Plastic Conveyor Belting - Hammond
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
An Assembler manually builds Intralox conveyor belts according to customer orders in a fast-paced, teamwork focused environment. This is a full-time position in an air-conditioned, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. It is essential that this position be performed at the facility. If selected, you will be required to successfully pass drug/background/physical.

Responsibilities
Assemble plastic modules into conveyor belts according to customer ordersFollow all safety procedures and policiesMeet the minimum productivity requirement for the work lanePerform housekeeping duties as requiredAbility and willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required Follow the attendance policy of the Assembly departmentExhibit teamwork and self-management practices.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED preferredStable work historyGood hand/eye coordination and detail orientedBasic math and communication skillsAbility to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 35 poundsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeIt is essential that this position be performed at the facility
