Operations Associate

Operations Associate – Long/Short Equity Fund Invenomic Capital Management LP (Invenomic), a Boston based long/short equity manager, is seeking an Operations Associate to contribute to their operations, compliance, and office management functions. This position works directly with the Director of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer, helping to support the operations of the company. Qualified candidates will be enthusiastic and will be offered the opportunity to shape their role over time as they develop.This position is not fully remote and qualified candidates will be expected to work on a hybrid or full in-office schedule. Responsibilities: · Middle Office support· Maintain books and records of Invenomic· Financial reporting· Compliance support (N-PORT, 13F, FORM PF, Short Reporting)· Client Service support (DDQ support, quarterly requests)· Audit· Treasury· Soft Dollar management· Office management functions· Various ad hoc projects Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment· Strong attention to detail, time management skills, ability to prioritize Desired Qualities and Competencies:· Zero to two years of experience in a middle office or fund accounting capacity at an investment manager, bank, administrator, or custodian· Knowledge of, and interest in, the alternative investments space· Self-motivated with an ability to work under minimal supervision Please send cover letter and resume to recruiting@invenomic.com.
